This document advises in managing the risks of storing archival data on recordable CDs and DVDs. It describes a strategy for good management and for measuring errors, leaning on the IASA-TC 04 Guidelines on the Production and Preservation of Digital Audio Objects. The recommendations for audio storage are translated into general data storage. There is limited advice in terms of storage and management.
