This site for media arts creators and collectors provides information for the preservation of single channel video artworks, computer based art and installation art. It presents best practices, gives guidance on planning preservation projects, provides templates for condition and migration reporting, provides advice on dealing with vendors and discusses issues of equipment and playback. It also includes interviews with preservation practitioners as well as links to scholarly articles and essays on the subject. The Belgian site SCART offers a Dutch translation of the site.

This site is specifically designed for media arts creators, not audiovisual archivists. It is full of important information, written in a way laymen can understand. It makes a valuable contribution to the field in that it increases awareness among an important group of content creators about preservation. The interviews and case studies are particularly interesting.
